She had just had her 100th Birthday

Somehow this evening I feel a little sadness mixed with joy at having had such a lovely aunt. Mabel died this morning at 100 years of age, she was our last link with our Mother, being her youngest sister. Mabel was able to live in her own home until just recently. I am certain she is now at peace. Looking at photos of those dear and beautiful Allen sisters, I can only reiterate, please put names to photographs. We age so quickly and we think we will always remember, but we don't, we change with age. Our memory faster than we wish.

I checked this immediately after we connected on Twitter. I love what you wrote about your Aunt. I just lost my Mama. I miss her so much! You are right about the photos too. Take the time. You will be glad you did. Hugs to you from your new friend in the US.
