I've been arguing with a relative about the rights and wrongs of DCI Teasdale's response to the first murder in The Silent Woman.
Should he have arrested her? Why did he delete her confession? Does his over developed sense of protectiveness towards someone he loves so deeply, prevent him from responding as any good policeman should, when dealing with a crime?
A dilemma for all of us.
Would we report our loved ones?
We are still arguing.
